I am currently writing somewhat abbreviated commentary/notes on the first chapters of the Text of the Complete and Annotated Edition. Links will be interspersed with the Text links on the Text Commentaries page and clearly indicated.
The reason for the new notes is that this most recent edition of the Course has restored most of the material in Helen's notes that was omitted from earlier editions and the original order. The first seven chapters were the most heavily modified, and there is a lot of unfamiliar material. None of it changes the overall message of the Course, but it often clarifies and augments our understanding.

I’ve just posted a new commentary on the Preface to the FIP edition of the Course. This is copyrighted material and therefore is not included in the CE edition. My previous commentary on the Preface (written in 2007,also linked on my Text Commentaries page) covered only the “What It Says” section, which is the only one of the three sections that came through inner dictation like the rest of the Course.
Here is the link: Download File (download the new commentary). |
